Work – maybe

One week ago today, the kids and I were in Cincinnati as I prepared for a final interview there. The company paid for our trip out there, we got to look around for a couple of days in case of a move, and met with the company.

And later today, I have a final interview here.

As I write this, I hold out hope to get offers from both jobs…but only time will tell.

So time will tell….

Cincinnati is just down the road from me – used to work on the north side of town. It’s a nice city – lots of suburbs, lots of things to do.

Have the companies given you any indication of when they will be making their final decisions? I’m sure you would prefer to stay where you are – hopefully you’ll have both offers at once so you won’t have to put one of them on hold while you wait to hear from the other, or do the ‘what if’ game.

Glad things are looking up for you!

Hope!!! Yay! I am in Northern KY and am rooting for you. There’s a great homeschool community here (I’m a homeschool mom myself!) and my husband works on the north side of Cincy. I hope you get the job. You will love the Queen City.

I am an Ohioian (albeit, the opposite corner of the state from Cincy) and can tell you our state is a great place to live and the cost of living in Ohio is very reasonable. In addition, Cincinnati is a really nice city – one of my favorites in our state to visit. Good luck!
