Here’s just a little tour of the house! we moved in around June 1st and we’re still in the process of painting and updating faucets and light fixtures as the budget allows (note my paint swatches everywhere). In the meantime, I’ve been focusing on making the house as functional and comfortable as possible on our budget.
Although Adam will say we need to focus on updating things like the garden and the landscaping, I’m interested in getting the inside finished first. Ahhh, marriage. π We will learn to compromise some day, right?
Tomorrow Adam will share his list of priorities, but for today, here’s my “to do” list:
-finish painting rooms
-window treatments
-art or decorations on the walls
-corroded faucets replaced
-bathroom mirrors replaced
-light fixtures updated
-slipcover for sofa
-plants for inside the house
-media console with storage
We tend to wait until we can get a deal on something used/damaged/clearance until we buy items or renovate, so a lot if what’s on my list is just a waiting game. Here’s where we’re at so far:

Wow I love it! Looks so nice!
I’m very jealous of your dining room. That’s pretty amazing.
Thank you!
Super cute house! Looks so cozy! Love the paint “swatches” on the wall behind the couch! π We do that, too!
Your house is beautiful! It looks to me like it’s already been wonderfully decorated. Love the dining room!
Oh wow!! I can definitely see why you bought it. Great spaces, and once you’re done decorating it fully it’ll be a knockout!
