Two Frugal Websites that Can Help You Stretch those Dollars

by

If you look at my sidebars, I have been doing some housecleaning. I think my blog is getting a bit cluttered, and I’m trying to simplify things. I am also thinking about a new look, although I am quite attached to that bright green logo. I have to think about it some more.

Anyways, while updating my Living Frugal links, I realized that I haven’t referenced two frugal websites that I enjoy visiting.

The Hillbilly Housewife has lots of great information, such as an $45 Emergency Menu for 4 to 6 (the menu assumes you have no supplies in your kitchen). Then there are recipies that will help you Attack the Convenience Foods. She even gives details on how to Lower the Fat Content of Ground Beef which is handy because we always buy regular ground beef because it’s cheaper.

The other website is The Dollar Stretcher. There are so many articles that it would take a long time to go through all of them. They also have different newsletters that you can subscribe to that give tips on stretching those dollars. One article I enjoyed was on 6 Financial New Year’s Resolutions.

I hope you enjoy these sites as much as I do 🙂

Time for a Carnival and a Festival!

by

Here’s some good reading for the week…

NCN hosted the First Carnival of Debt Reduction for 2007 over at the No Credit Needed Network (which I am a member of).

Henry hosted the First Festival of Frugality for 2007 over at Binary Dollar.

Enjoy! 🙂
