This past weekend was CRAZY! First Princess played in a day long tournament in a city 2.5 hours away on Saturday. We got home about 7:30pm Saturday.
Then Gymnast competed in his last regular season gymnastics meet. States is in two weeks. I was exhausted by the time we got home last night at 11pm.
But I wanted to share some video clips of this latest meet. This is his 6th year competing. His first year with a new team. And he competes as a Level 7 gymnast.

This meet was made even more special when four of our extended family members showed up to cheer him on! There were four generations of family there with us. It was awesome!

Hope came to the Blogging Away Debt community in 2015 as a single mom raising five foster and adoptive children. She’s written through job changes, financial setbacks, and the bittersweet transition to an empty nest. Her kids are finding their footing in the world now – and so is she.
Rooted in faith and fueled by the same perseverance she’s brought to every hard season, Hope is ready to face her finances with fresh eyes and an honest pen. She believes that clarity, courage, and community can change the trajectory of anyone’s story including her own.
She lives in Austin, TX with her dad, loves adventures with her dog Addie, and is figuring out, one step at a time, what this next chapter is meant to be.

Congrats to Gymnast! I recall the first videos you posted on the website…amazing how much he has grown and how much his talent has developed!

And nice to think of the good times, Hope. I know life is rough financially right now, but what wonderful times you are having with the kids. Enjoy what you can. My babies are all grown and I do miss the gymnastics meets and the basketball games and such.
