A visitor to my blog yesterday brought up a VERY good point. If you do get a late fee or another charge from your credit cards – do try calling.
In my anger at that card company, I did the next best thing…I used one of my other cards to transfer the balance over! That transfer should be completed within the next few days.
I’m not going to cancel the card though – because that’s what they want me to do. The transcript to the conversation I had with them before is here. They were quite willing to let me go.
So, I am going to keep the card. I’m still debating whether to freeze it or just make minor purchases and pay it off right away. They are not getting a penny more from me in finance charges 😉
