Sorry for the quiet.
I’m working a temporary night job. At this point, I’m not turning anything down.
Sleep can wait until my husband is gainfully employed.
I’ll be sure to post tomorrow.

Good for you for keeping up the effort! It will stink for a while – who doesn’t like sleep?
But you’ve got a great attitude and employers notice when someone has a solid work ethic. I know – I used to be a retail manager and I valued those who came to work on time or a little early and put in good day’s work.
I’m sure in time things will turn around for you and your husband!

I was going to say whatever it takes to help you sleep better at night, but I guess the lack of sleep is helping w/that… Do what you need to do to keep the money comin’ in – we’ll still be here after you’ve gotten some sleep.
Hang in there.

We’ll wait for you! Hang in there!

Hey Beks,
That sounds rough. Good luck!

Don’t worry, we’ll wait until you have some time for us. Just do what you need to do.

Hi Beks- I just stumbled across your blog yesterday and have to say, it’s so nice to feel like there’s someone out there penny-pinching their way to financial freedom too! You’re a funny gal and I’ve enjoyed going through your posts. I finally buckled down after 5 years of stagnant debt and have recently started a second job to get credit card/auto loans paid off. You’re doing a great job and I wish you and your hubby the best! I’m sure you’ve got a ton of other gals out there who appreciate all your thoughts as well. Aloha from Hawaii, Tara

Beks, I respect you for working so hard!

Keep your chin up, beks. When work is really dragging for me, I think of those women in Africa walking 10 miles to get water every day from a distant village, and I’m sure that’s just the first chore of the day for them, and I think, okay, I can turn on a magic tap and *drinkable* hot and cold water comes out… my day really isn’t all that bad…

Way to go on being such a hard worker! That’s hard to come by these days. Most people want to blame their hard times on others and they also want others to pay their bills through the hard times. Good on you for taking care of business!!!

I have been following you for a while now. I know you and your husband are going though a rough time. My prayers are with you both.
