oh, no question you should be hoarding every last bit of cash right now. since you aren’t dealing with cc debt anymore you can at least be rest assured the minimum payments will make real progress on the debt.

Always a positive attitude – I appreciate that – even if you’re not feeling it 100% of the time. And smart move on the extra cash on hand. We’re suddenly in the same situation you’re in and it helps thinking of your positive attitude. You’ll be fine and we’ll be fine and maybe even better on the flip side.

I think you’re smart to keep cash in reserve like that. And smart by not plunging into more debt.

As long as you’re moving forward, you should be happy. Actually I realize you are. Keep up the good work.

I agree with Jen that it’s wise to keep cash on hand. Times are tough and it’s certainly an excellent idea to have a couple months worth of expenses safely stashed away.
