I remember when I played soccer in college. I felt graceful and powerful. I felt excited and focused.
10 years later…
I do not feel graceful, powerful, excited, or focused.
I ran for 45 minutes this morning and looked more like a stumbling 3 legged dog than a sophisticated runner. But then again, that’s how I felt when drafting our first budget. I’m always a little awkward at first.
Still running, still budgeting, still pushing.

Way to go girl. Watching this transformation take place, (budgeting, biking, running, etc.) has been rather exciting. Maybe dad and I should try something like that? or maybe not.
Love you, mom

First of all, I think it’s so cute/funny your mom comments.
Second, did you download a marathon training program online? Also, the NY Times health blog also has some great tips.
Sorry for all the info, but I’m 8 months pregnant, and I’m missing my running!

Finances and health are very closely tied. Ask my doctor. ; )
