Great post!

I think a lot of people can get carried away with saving money without realizing to also focus on the other side of the equation – earning more! I’d also suggest looking into using other skills (for those people like me that don’t have a crafty bone in their body) such as tutoring, teaching English, freelancing, etc… Pretty much any skill you have you can make profitable if you are creative enough.

Thanks for the link …The suggestions listed down both by the author and the readers are implementable and practical.. The idea is to have a lifestyle which allows you to stick to the thumb rule of getting rich and that is “Spend less than You Earn” And “A penny saved is a penny earned”.

Any type of second income or passive income is great, something I have more recently been researching. For example, starting a blog like this one could be a good way to generate some ad income for side money. It does require work and is basically a second job. There are niche affiliate sites you could set up like an ebay store. Or maybe create some type of e-book if you are an expert in something, and sell it at a cost.

I am all about making extra money and I took on that dreaded second job recently. The only problem now is that I am not getting out of debt fast enough.

I had done most of the tips listed in the article, I am just not crafty enough to do the etsy thing. Maybe a good time to try.
