If you direct deposited your tax return refund, you will get your stimulus check direct deposited as well

Ah, okay, Tricia. Thank you. I read his post a few times, and thought was referring to both the stimulus check AND tax returns.

If we requested direct deposit for our tax returns, they’ll do the same for our stimulus checks? Am I understanding that right, at least?!

Jesse – I used TurboTax for a few years before I started using TaxCut. Unfortunately, I don’t remember enough about TurboTax to comment. I do remember that it was easy to use, like TaxCut is. Our taxes are fairly simple, though.

Claire – I think Jim is just referring to the economic stimulus check. For your regular refund for 2007 taxes, I’ve been hearing the 2-3 week timeframe as well. I filed our taxes on the 9th and it said we should have our refund by the 25th.

Jim, I’m confused. When we filed our taxes, we were told we’d have the refund direct deposited in 2-3 weeks. Today is two weeks and one day since I mailed them. Are you saying because the SS# ends in 68, we have to wait until 5/9?!!

Update on the stimulus check or direct deposit, depending on whether or not you get a refund from the IRS and if you qualify of course. The numbers are the last 2 digits of the first filer’s SSN and the respective week to expect a direct deposit or paper check.
