It’s a sure good thing to hear how your debt has dropped. Surely, any credit card debtors can experience debt reduction like you are experiencing now only if they have aims to reducing their debts like you, too. Planning as well as disciplining oneself could contribute to avoidance and reducing ones debts. Congrats on your side!

Well done on the debt repayment. You have paid off a third of your debt and that is pretty fabulous.

It would be interesting to have a post about how much interest you were paying when you started compared to how much you are paying now.

It realy is amazing progress… an knocking down those milestones is rewarding. I get you on the patience thing. I’ve gone through a period of higher expenses, but think I’ve come out of it. I think I have some extra to put toward debt, but I really should wait until my next paycheck to confirm that… but the wait, even just 8 days seems so long. Ive got just over $1k on my last credit card (personal loans still carry the bulk of my debt)… with the next payment I’ll be into the 3 digits!

It sucks when life throws these little curveballs that prevent you from hitting your goal a little earlier but its just a delay rather than a set back. Keep it up!

Da Big D – because our message said delayed, I wanted to call and find out why. We had that IRS debt that we paid in full. If for some reason it was not showing as paid in full, that would cause problems with our refund. I wanted to make sure that wasn’t the problem.

Seriously why are you wasting your time calling the IRS?????? You check will show up when they send it. Yes, its your money, but let them do their job and it will shop up when it does. Calling them will not make it go any faster….
