The good ole flu bug ran rampant through our household. First it was my husband, then me and then my son. Everyone appears to be better, but I think I had a relapse of sorts today. My ribs feel like they were run over by a truck. I’m so very sore.
Days like today are good days to so some catching up on “easy” tasks. You know them…they are the ones that are easy to do but pretty boring so you put them off. For me, that’s filing some paperwork. We are transitioning to a paperless filing system and I have so much to organize on my computer. I admit that I am a bit of a pack-rat when it comes to paperwork so going paperless has been a huge project.
It also was a perfect day to relax on the couch and watch American Idol. That is one of my guilty pleasures
Tonight I am going to go to bed pretty early and I hope I feel better tomorrow. This weekend is supposed to be a very nice weekend and I’d love to get outside some. Lately we’ve been blasted with very cold weather so we’ve stayed inside. I’m starting to get stir-crazy. Except for a grocery shopping trip, I’ve only been out and about once in the past 2 and a half weeks.
On the bright side, when you stay home you are less likely to spend money

I’m sorry to hear that you’re not feeling well! Get better soon!
How are you transferring to a paperless system? Are you scanning old documents?

Tricia,
I highly recommend vitamin C and elderberry extract. Ive had the flu 3 times in my life. The two times I used those two combined with echinacea I was better I swear 3X as fast. Just my 2 cents

Take it easy and make friends with your couch. The strain that is ripping through the U.S. this season is a brutal one. Almost every person I know has had it this year.

If you tolerate them, I find a combo of two tylenol and two ibuprofen takes the bite out of the body aches so I can get a good night’s sleep, which is the best thing for getting better.
Hope you get over it soon. We have been lucky so far and haven’t succumbed.

I have learned that staying home is usually a good thing since 90% of the time when you walk out of your house and get in your car you will end up spending money.
