Thanks to some extra hours at work and also thanks to not having to pay a health insurance premium this month, we were able to throw an additional $750 towards our debt. That brings our total to $15,249. We are so very close to getting under $15,000 and I’d love to find that extra $250 from somewhere but it’s not there.
For some reason, the following popped in my head…”Patience young grasshopper…patience.” I have no idea where that’s from, but I think there’s something to it. We’ll get there given a little more time.

The “grasshopper” line is from the TV series “Kung Fu,” starring David Carradine. I use that line a lot, too. BTW, just discovered your site this past week. Thank you for sharing your experiences!

I do that too with the wanting to round down! But then, look at it the other way: 15K is a nice number. It could be that you were at 16,250 and wishing you had 250 do get down to the 15K’s. I do these head games a lot with myself to keep my motivation up! As always, congratulations on getting this far!!!!

Keep up the good work! It’s funny that I just wrote a post about Patience.
