Garage sales are pretty intimate when you think about it. Here you have people rummaging through your belongings and getting a glimpse into how you live and what you like. I think that may be part of the reason why people decide to chit chat with you and make comments about your items.
Here’s the top 4 comments/questions we received:
4.) You have a lot of nice stuff for sale.
3.) Someone sure likes eagles!
2.) You moving?
And the number one thing…drumroll….
1.) (Pointing to our house) Where did you fit all this stuff?

Hi Tricia!
I’ve read a lot of your blog and you inspired me to begin my own. http://mrsmicah.blogspot.com/ I mentioned you in one of my first posts.
Like your Garage Sale customers, I wonder how I used to fit all my stuff in my bedroom…

It’s always fun to get those people that stop buy and want to bargain for everything.
“Hey, I’ll give you $2 even though the price tag says $15.. you’ll never sell it for that!” Ugh, some people I swear.

I bet you’re loving the free space, Tricia.
Also, I have nominated you for a Frugal Subversive Award – hope you don’t mind.
