This is a little bit off topic and doesn’t really have much to do with debt, but I saw this video from ABC and I had to share. It’s about a trick that a toy plays on your eyes. You don’t have to buy the toy, you can watch the video and get the same effect.

Needless to say, it amused me as well as the other people in the video. I think it’s really neat!

Toy that plays tricks on your eyes

Without “giving it away” in the comments, what did you think? :)

  1. Flexo responded:

Hm, the link played an advertisement for a Yahoo website, then told me my “system” is unable to play the actual content. I visited the “help page” as requested and was told I needed to download Windows Media Player, although I do have the latest version installed on my computer. Eh.

  2. Tricia responded:

I found the video while on my PC and it played fine with Firefox. But, I just tried on my Mac after reading your comment. I had the same thing happen to me. I saw the advertisement, but then it went to the help page and told me I had to download flip4mac. After I downloaded it, it played fine.

Having to do things differently while viewing with a Mac isn’t that unusual, but I wonder why you couldn’t see it on your PC. Weird.

  3. Sheri responded:

Worked okay for me. Very interesting.

  4. RoolD responded:

Very cool Tricia. My head is still spinning!

  5. Special Ed responded:

Funny how they make sure the advertisement works, but don’t go out of their way to make sure the content works.

  6. Matt responded:

Also worked for me on Firefox – that’s Don Polec of Philadelphia’s ABC station (WPVI), by the way.

  7. nancy responded:

    Tricia,

The clip said it is unavailable. I’m on Firefox.
    Too bad! What was it?

  8. Tricia responded:

Hi nancy – I tried to find it again, but I can’t. I wish I gave more detail in my post, like the name of it so I could find it again :(

  9. Tricia responded:

A working version, that is. I can’t even get it to run now, even though I was able to before.
