I am sitting here writing this post from my good ole laptop with its brand new adapter. To my amazement, I did get it overnight. We’ve never received something overnight when we’ve asked for it. At the very least it would be two days.

Thank you Amazon and UPS for wonderful service. Now I can get back into my Quicken file!

Expect my monthly income/expense report for January shortly :)

I just want to urge you to consider backing up your precious disk drive in that laptop. I understand you keep your Quicken data on it. That’s very important data. Make SURE you are doing backups regularly, either to an external drive or, at the very least to CDs.
Just as that power adapter broke, so will your hard disk one day.
Imagine how you’d feel if you could never get into your Quicken data again. Pretty scarry, huh.

BTW, nice site. Keep up the good work
