I have to be honest with everyone. With all the extra attention lately, I’m not quite sure what to write! Every time I do one of those personality tests, I score high on the introverted side of the spectrum. If you think about the life of the party, that’s not me. I am the quiet one sitting in the corner watching everyone else.
Don’t get me wrong. I enjoy everyone visiting and I love the comments. I just have to get a little used to it. I lead a very quiet life, and the activity here is really spicing things up. I think I’m overwhelmed. One thing about my blog is that I rarely write things in advance. I’ve tried to do that before and it doesn’t work well for me. I’d much rather write in the moment. Usually that means I write something the night before and then the next day quickly look at it to make sure it makes sense and I spelled things right. Then I post it. Then there are times I may go on a little rant and I post something immediately. I guess it depends on how I’m feeling and what I’m thinking about.
I think the timing of my sickness hasn’t helped either. I am feeling better today, although still a little weak.
Rest assured, I should be back to normal posting shortly

Hi, i found your site through Leigh Ann’s and also through the NYT article. I’m trying to read from the beginning…so far I’m in the April 2006 archives! You have come so far and I wish you all the best. I also started a PF blog earlier this year. I’d be honored if you can visit sometime. Thanks and I’ll keep reading!

The quiet ones are the ones that you have to watch, though.

you are an inspiration! It is nice to know we debtors are not alone, but in the company of intelligent, down to earth folks like you! thanks.

Tricia,
I imagine it’s overwhelming to suddenly have an expanded national audience of total strangers! It would be a tragedy if the NY Times article made you feel uncomfortable about your own blog or made you feel pressured to “perform” for a new audience. Hopefully you’ll be able to keep on doing what you’ve been doing – using the blog to help yourself get out of debt and stay out of debt. Good luck! I hope you are feeling better soon.
