What One Village is Doing to Get Attention

I read this story, and I am so glad it didn’t happen to me. A village in New York is having a hard time with some of their residents and they haven’t been able to gain entry to read their water meters.

They’ve tried notices and letters and it hasn’t worked. So, they decided to send out fake $1,000 water bills to get their attention. So far, it seems to be working.

I don’t know about you, but if I received a $1,000 water bill I think I would faint!
