I am the first to admit that I am not the best writer in the world. I have such a difficult time writing things that it can take me many hours to write a single post. Sometimes I read something that another blogger wrote and it is something that I have tried to write before, but it was deleted because I just couldn’t get it out. Here’s one of those instances.
So, if you read anything today read this post.
One thing that I will add is that your debt isn’t you either. Don’t let your debt define who you are. Someone who has $30,000 in credit card debt is not a worse person than someone who has $1,000 in credit card debt. Just remember that.
Anyways, go read Jim’s post. It’s a good one.

Writing is difficult. It gets easier with practice and time. You have already taken the first step by noticing the characteristics of ‘good writing’ elsewhere; by this time next year, you will be impressed with your development if you keep it up. Good luck with the debt reduction.

I agree with you, my pf friend. It was an excellent post. It really brought the big picture into focus. Especially since we personal finance bloggers are spending most of our time thinking about the next post…and the post after that…and the…

I have the same issue from time to time where I just sit there I’ve got a topic in mind but I just can’t write out what I want to say the way I want to say it. Sometimes it’s just a matter of plugging through it.

Thanks for the compliment and the link, I’m glad you enjoyed it and found value in it. Writing does get easier and better with time, I can assure you of that
. It also is one of the few things in this world that others won’t make fun of you if you’re bad at it, like public speaking, because no one does it well.

It’s a great post, no doubt.
Of course, if you have kids, you’re constantly reminded of what life is really all about. Simple things like hearing my baby girl’s laughter help to keep it all in perspective. Yep.
