Since I live in a fairly rural area, when I am looking for a certain product sometimes I cannot find it. So, I go to the internet to try to get what I am looking for.

Yesterday, my son divulged that he wanted a Buzz Lightyear for his birthday. The store we were at had a small one with wings and a larger one that talked without wings. I could tell he liked the bigger buzz that talked, but he was drawn to the one with wings.

Figuring there had to be one that talked with wings, I first checked Amazon.com. They had a buzz that talked and has wings for $44.99. Wow. I didn’t think it would be that expensive. Using the name that amazon called it, I searched using Blingo.com and found that same exact toy at DisneyShopping.com for $19.95. Yes!

Then, I put in “DisneyShopping.com coupons” into Blingo.com and performed a search. I found a site that gave nice coupons for DisneyShopping.com. The best deal at the moment - 20% off your entire order. Double Yes!

I was able to go from $44.99 at Amazon.com to $15.64 at DisneyShopping.com. That’s a savings of almost $30.00. (NOTE: I am not including shipping anywhere in this equation because I’m not sure what the Amazon shipping would have been).

I found what my son wanted online, saved some money, and my son will be getting a Buzz Lightyear for his birthday. Shh…don’t tell him :)

Also, don’t forget about online coupons. A lot of online retailers offer promotional codes or discounts that you type in during checkout. Anytime you see a spot for a promotional code, go to google and do a search for the site + coupon. You’ll be surprised at how much you save.
