Here’s the latest and greatest total on our credit card debt – $26,764. We were only able to reduce it by $231 so far this month, and that is due to paying the minimum amounts due. So far, no extra money has been put towards debt this month.
The way things are looking, no extra money will be sent out until late in the month. It also will be less than I am currently shooting for. A bit of a bummer, but October is just turning out to be a very expensive month for us.
As long as we do not have to use the credit cards, it’s still a small victory in my mind.

It may not be what you’re used to, but as you said, at least you’re not adding to the debt!
Aren’t you glad you turned your heat on with all this snow?

Just like you said, you aren’t adding to it! And down is down, no matter what size the increment. Also, FWIW, you are not alone in that boat. Ours is pretty much holding steady this month. It’s kind of a bummer, but other things needed to happen and that’s just life.

Look how far you’ve come – down almost $11k in 8 months!! Bravo!

Any decrease in credit card debt is a good thing. There are some months where things come up and drain your money away; as long as you’re making headway then this is a good thing.
