As I discussed a few days ago, we decided to pay off Credit Card #6. Today, the card was paid off in full. Once I receive the statement where the balance is zero we will then close the card. That card was my first and last store credit card. My lesson was learned there!
So, with that payment, our total credit card debt as of today is $25,854.
Sorry so short. I am feeling really under the weather today. Hopefully I’ll be feeling better soon.

Congratulations!
One comment. If the card counts for the length of your credit history (that depends on how long you have owned the card), it may not be a good idea to close it as that will shorten the length. You can keep it open but don’t use it any more, and that won’t hurt anything.

Congrats!
I still remember the bliss I felt when I paid off the one and only time I got a store card. Good for you!
Hope you’re feeling better soon.

Congratulations on the payoff. It’s a great feeling. I’m sure you’ll see the other balances decrease that much faster now.
P.S. Thanks for the welcome comment!

I’ll echo commenter ‘Sun’. Keep the card, but file it in your drawer and don’t use it again. Should help your credit rating, which will help on insurance premiums and getting jobs in the future.
And congrats on continued progress towards getting out of debt.
