I’ve received some great comments on my spending report and I plan to redo the reports starting next month so they give a better idea of our financial position.
I figured I would throw it out there and ask everyone what you would like to see. What sort of financial information about me would be beneficial to you to see? Is there a way you would like to see it presented so it is easier to follow?
One thing I thought of was actually posting our monthly income. Does that sound like a good idea?
Please leave your thoughts by leaving a comment or if you want you can email me bloggingawaydebt [at] yahoo [dot] com. Thanks!

Hi Tricia,
Personally, I think you’re doing a great job posting how you spend your income. Very informative, too. I guess if you wanted to tweak things a bit, you could add any money that goes towards retirement and/or college savings. That would be my only suggestion. And, again, great job on paying down your debt.

Thanks for commenting Chris
There is a reason that I don’t have those things listed, and I realized with your post that I never really wrote about it. I don’t have any savings. No retirement, no college fund, not even a simple savings account at the bank.
With being so agressive with paying off our debt, I haven’t been able to justify in my mind to start saving. But there’s something in the back of my mind thinking that I should stash a little bit of money away for a rainy day.
Thank you for bringing this up!
