I was an activity director; those companies require degrees for consultants. I do have great expertise. I was an entertainer who filled in for my missing volunteers on my job. The corporations now process through w-9 and don't pay under the table. I make less on unemployment than I'd get at a minimum wage job. Not enough to pay rent and utilities anywhere. My son offered me to live with him and his brother in a house where I will not have a room. I have a ton of books and work clothes I am loathe to part with as these are the only treasures I kept after death of 2 parents, divorce (where the girlfriend moved into the house and shoved out my belongings) and loss, loss loss. Right now I am trying to pack and I am ALONE, boxes are heavy, I'm unsure who is going to get/payfor storage or even exactly when this move will happen, so I am in living in chaos in an apt. which was one mile from my job. Across the street lives a former co-worker who I supplied with furniture when she moved and several other co=workers happily took hundreds of dollars that I gave to help them out.
I am depressed to the point of being paralyzed. When I try to find jobs for word processing (type 120 wpm with 40 years in the job market) I get slammed by "work at home for a minor initial fee" spam.

Your ideas are great and thanks but again, they don't fit my situation.

Best of luck to everybody.

Excellent ideas. It's interesting how many simple ways to make a few extra bucks are overlooked. We have tons of newly constructed homes in my area and the houses keep getting bigger and more difficult to clean.

Keep up the good work!

Those are great ideas that a lot of people can use to make extra money. I run a website on becoming a consultant and I've noticed that a ton of my readers are interested in using consulting to pay off debt. So I've been writing about how the high hourly rate from consulting can help you pay off debt faster

Cheers!
